Our client has asked us to search for a regional sales representative to cover Western North Dakota, Eastern Montana, and Western South Dakota. This position will be responsible for locating and working directly with Engineering Firms, Contractors, Distributors, and other entities that require the frequent use of pressure valves and flow control devices for projects or clients. The goal for this position is to expand the client base. The best location for this representative to have his/her residency will be in Western North Dakota.
Minimum requirements:
- 2 + years of experience in outside sales
- Industry knowledge to include one, or more, of the following: HVAC, Industrial, Building Products, Mining, Oil, Municipal, or Pipe, Valve, & Fittings Industry
- Established Oil Industry relationships in the region would be preferred
- Familiar with the current territory
- Ability to travel as needed to cover the region (40% is typical)
- Ability to work independently from the main office
- Proven track record of successful outside sales
- Strong organizational skills & mechanical aptitude
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Liberal Arts preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
- 55-60k base + Commission & Bonus potential
