Regional Sales & Services Manager - Long Island, NY
Responsibilities Daily store Visits: Develop Store Action Plan: - Complete the Field Leader Visit Guide with the GM, document the status of CPC execution on each store visit
- Develop a written Action Plan for improvement with the General Manager
- Retain copy of Action Plan in your files for future follow up visits and development of District and Regional Action Plans
Develop District and Regional Action Plan: - With completed Field Leader Guides, use the District Summary to identify areas of opportunity within the District and develop an Action Plan for each District
- Meet with the DM each month to review documented areas of opportunity
- Document the Action Plan with the DM to drive execution in their District
- Gain agreement from the DM on timeline to improve the identified opportunities and Action Plan
- Meet with the co-RSSM and with each District Summary use the Regional Summary to develop one Regional Action plan
- Both RSSMs meet with the RVP each month to review the updated Action Plan and progress of CPC execution
Drive Action Plans through follow up meetings: - During each subsequent visit, use the documented Action Plan to follow up and hold each group accountable to progress
- Escalate to DM stores not showing advancing progress, and work with the DM to advance District Action Plan progress
CPC Associates: - Know open position status for locations, drive GM/DM to fill positions with urgency, participate in Specialist interviews
- Follow up on new associate training to ensure escalation of knowledge through proficiency testing
RVP and DM monthly store visits: - Ride with the RVP and each DM in your assigned area once per month
- Coach them through any new initiative deployments
- Follow up on and drive progressive success of written monthly Action Plan progress for the Region/District
- Use Field Visit Guide documentation for each store visit to identify opportunities and locations which are excelling
Financial and Reporting Acumen: - One day per week review all Home Office CPC reporting (Scorecard, P&L, P@SS, etc.)
- Identify locations with opportunities and excelling to target for daily store visits
- Hold Stores/Districts/Region accountable to the CPC Scorecard and P&L metrics
- Review HUB metrics to ensure stores are maximizing efficiencies by utilizing their HUB resource
Communication: - Know all communications as they launch and be the expert for all initiatives to drive execution
- Ensure stores are following proper policy and executing communications with excellence
- Focus communications to District Managers and stores to drive monthly Action Plan progress
- Follow up weekly and engage RVP and DM on progress of Action Plan execution
- Complete one Regional Weekly Recap w/co-RSSM of progress and obstacles; email to Home Office & DSS
- Email from the RSSM to the CPC mailbox is against company policy and distracts from driving execution
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree required
- 6-10 years retail experience in store management or store support
- Ability to champion programs through Field organization
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to multi-task
- Previous multi-unit experience
