Registered Nurse-Personal Care Coordinator
Community Living Alliance Personal Care Department provides personal care and chore services to people of all ages with physical disabilities and chronic illness, and the elderly.
CLA is currently seeking RNs with high energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to provides administration, coordination and direct service support for consumers. This position is also responsible for providing training and supervision to Personal Care Workers (PCWs).
Current Registered Nurse licensed in the State or Wisconsin. Three years nursing and supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of organizational and time management skills to balance numerous responsibilities. The ability to independently handle issues related to safety, competency, and care. Knowledge of nursing assessments and writing care plans. Sufficient computer skills for completion of charting are required. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with PCWs, consumers, and co-workers. Must own reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver license without restrictions. Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Must be willing and able to travel throughout Dane County in all types of weather.
