The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following: Implementing the established policies and procedures of Patient First; Offering quality nursing care and generating a genuine warm and friendly atmosphere for patients and employees; Providing nursing care in the ambulatory setting to individual patients and families; Using sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients; Administering medications and knowing correct dosage, actions and side effects of each; Assisting the physician in all emergency cases; Fostering team work and a positive, professional atmosphere.
Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Employee must be 18 years of age or older; State licensure as a nurse in good standing; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Minimum typing experience; One year clerical experience preferred; High school graduate or equivalent; Prefer minimum of one or two years of medical experience with administration of medications; Minimum of one to two years of clinical experience preferred.
