Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI is a community based academic and research center that provides outstanding care for adults. We are affiliated with Boston University School of Medicine, and surrounding colleges and universities for nursing and allied health programs. In patient units include medical telemetry, surgical oncology, bone marrow transplant, critical care, medical and surgical step-down, orthopedics and neurosurgery, as well as several behavioral health units.
The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for a defined group of patients according to the hospital’s philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice. The registered nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for judgment and actions, maintains clinical competency and exercises informed judgment in delegating nursing care to others. The Registered Nurse promotes patient, family and staff learning.
Education: Maintain a current Rhode Island nursing license. BLS certification.
Experience: Two to five years PACU or ICU/CCU experience.
