Oncology Nurse
At Baylor, we offer you more than a job. As an oncology nurse, you’ll have the opportunity to provide a personalized level of care and make a difference in our patients’ lives.
Baylor’s nurses are empowered to make decisions that improve patient care. We are committed to a shared leadership model that encourages all staff nurses to be actively involved in setting the clinical policies and procedures for their unit.
Baylor nurses take pride in their ability to deliver safe, quality, compassionate health care. Oncology nurses at Baylor work with a low patient ratio in a tranquil setting that promotes healing. They prescribe, delegate, coordinate and deliver patient care. They ensure that patient care meets our high standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations. They supervise care delivered by the patient care team; coordinate the plan of care; educate patients and staff; and collaborate with other disciplines. Our oncology nurses have exceptional bedside manner and provide personalized attention and care.
You care about your patients, and we care about our oncology nurses. We provide a healthy work environment and the support you need to give the highest level of care to your patients.
We have career opportunities available for all levels of oncology nurses on all shifts, including Two-Day Alternative, weekdays, nights and PRN, at all of our system hospitals.
