Transplant Nurse

Transplant nurses choose Baylor Health Care System because we offer more than outstanding benefits and a national reputation. We provide an exceptional level of care that keeps our patients feeling great long after their stay has ended.

Baylor’s nurses are empowered to make decisions that improve patient care. We are committed to a shared leadership model that encourages all staff nurses to be actively involved in setting the clinical policies and procedures for their unit.

Our transplant nurses are part of one of the top transplant programs in the nation. They prescribe, delegate, coordinate and deliver patient care and ensure that patient care meets our high standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations. They supervise care delivered by the patient care team; coordinate the plan of care; and collaborate with other disciplines.

They also educate and build long-term relationships with patients and their families. Our transplant nurses are highly respected members of the medical team and are rewarded by helping patients get a second chance at life.

We have career opportunities available for transplant nurses on all shifts, including Two-Day Alternative, weekdays and nights, at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth.
