Description:

As an ICU RN for Axis Medical Staffing you will be placed in tense situations where complex assessments are necessary. Providing direct patient care, you will evaluate outcomes, assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and provide comprehensive emergency care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting. You will also act as a liaison for patients and their families while providing accurate, detailed and professional information for the care plan associated with the patient.

Currently, we are actively searching for highly skilled and qualified ICU and PICU RNs to work in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. Our current need is specifically for Travel RNs.

Requirements:

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with at least 3 years of current ICU or PICU RN experience in a hospital setting. In addition, you must meet or exceed the following qualifications:

• Active Unencumbered CA RN License
• Current ACLS
• Current BLS
• Current PALS
  
• Current PPD/TB
• Full immunization records (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, etc)
• Verifiable References
• Willingness to complete applicable skills checklist and competency exam
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
