Description:

As a Med/Surg RN with Axis Medical Staffing, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to adult patients. In collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals, our Med/Surg RNs assist in the preparation of an assessment plan before and after any medical procedures have occurred. The ideal candidate must possess a diverse background to work with a fluctuating caseload for patients experiencing a variety of medical ailments.

Currently, we are actively searching for highly skilled and qualified Med/Surg and Tele RNs to work 13 week contracts in Portland, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of skilled clinicians for one of our most respected clients in the area. EPIC charting experience preferred.

Requirements:

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with at least 3 years of current Med/Surg and Tele experience in a large hospital setting. In addition, you must meet or exceed the following qualifications:

·          Active Unencumbered WA RN License

·          Current ACLS

·          Current BLS

·          Full immunization records (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, etc)

·          Verifiable references by previous supervisors

·          EPIC experience

·          Willingness to complete applicable skills checklist and competency exam

·          Effective communication and critical thinking skills
