functions of a physician such as determination of donor suitability,
management of adverse events, donor deferrals, review of unsuitable
test results, and support of special donor immunization programs, where
applicable. - Works under the direct supervision of the center
manager and, for medically related issues, under the supervision of the
center medical director. - Follows guidance provided by the BioLife Chief Medical Director.
- In addition, provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
- Evaluate and treat any donor adverse event, per SOP guidelines.
- May task-train in other work areas to assist, when available and necessary.
- Familiarity with Workers Compensation reporting.
- Must be a Registered Nurse, with 2-4 years experience, current applicable state licensure and CPR certification required.
