Our RNs work as leaders in our care team. Incumbents willadminister and direct quality nursing care to patients. Responsibilities include: Ensuring and/or processing physician orders,responding to patient requests and needs, administering medications andtherapeutic care, IV therapy or IV delivery of medication, documentingactivities, checking vitals, assisting patients with pain management,working with physicians and other care team professionals to ensurepatient comfort, safety and healing.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Current LA Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
· Current CPR certification.
· Other certifications may be required for assignments to specialtyunits. (ACLS for assignment to ER/ICU; PALS for assignment to L&D)
· Excellent customer service skills; working knowledge of PCs and/orcomputerized patient charting; ability to work positively with a team;good communication skills—verbal and written; ability to handlemultiple priorities; ability to direct/lead others in a respectful,professional manner.
