Qualifications

Required:
*Active Maryland RN license
*Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
*IV insertion skills
*Minimum of 1 year critical care experience (this position will float to Pre-admission Testing as needed).

Responsibilities

Renders professional nursing care to all patients within the Short Stay Unit of the hospital utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards. The RN collaborates with other members of the healthcare team, delegates appropriately to support staff, and directs the patients care to ensure care needs are satisfied. In addition, the RN maintains current standards of practice through ongoing education, orientation of new staff, and review and revisions of nursing policies and procedures.
