Registered Nurses needed to work at Winn Army Community Hospital. Shifts are on various units and may be scheduled to work 8 or 12 hour shifts. General Qualifications: 1. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and renewed annually. 2. A minimum of one years experience within the last three years working as an RN in the area in which the duty is performed. 3. Provide documentation of current immunizations or titer results as applicable and/or requested. 4. No work restrictions, which interfere with the performance of nursing care. 6. Registered Nurse shall have a graduate degree from a program that provides a diploma or degree in nursing. 7. Shall possess, a valid, unencumbered license as a minimum in at least one state or territory in the United States. 8. Successful completion of all application and background requirements, to include skills and competency testing. Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three years in Medical/Surgical nursing in a hospital setting. Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses shall have one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years working as an RN in a hospital intensive care unit. ICU RNs will be required to pass a written exam (credentialing ICU test). Psychiatric Registered Nurses shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three years working as an RN in the care of psychiatric patients. OB/GYN Registered Nurse shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three years working as an RN in the obstetric setting and shall maintain current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Operating Room Registered Nurses shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three years working as a RN in the operating room. Knowledge of medical gases used and storage/safety/changing of tanks is required. Emergency Room Registered Nurses shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three years working in the Emergency Room and shall maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Mother Baby Unit Registered Nurses shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three years working in a combined Mother-Baby Unit and shall possess and maintain current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. |
