The Registrar Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Registrar's office in maintaining complete and accurate student academic records, and in providing excellent customer service to both students and Centers. This position may also completes routine data analysis and ad hoc reports, supports key registrar related processes, and maintains the OSS database. It may also extract and manipulate data from OSS that is utilized by Metro leadership in developing effective strategic decisions. The Registrar Coordinator will focus primarily on all aspects of new student registration.
- Reviews new student folders each session for accuracy and completeness of information; notifies the Assistant Registrar of discrepancies or delinquent data.
- Maintains enrollment deficiency database (OPOG, POG, transcripts for transfer credit, etc), issuing reminders to students each session as necessary and provides tracking reports as requests.
- Processes TPAC requests.
- Must have experience handling confidential records.
- Prepares Acceptance Letters for the Registrar's signature.
- Responsible for data quality initiative clean-up as warranted.
- Verifies accuracy of data input into the student information system as requested.
- Interfaces with Student Finance regarding TAP
- May administer key processes that include new, resuming, and continuing student registration, grade processing and progression, class withdrawals, student intermission, and program changes.
- May provide Registration Tracking Report to the Campus President, Dean of Finance, and Dean of Academic Affairs on a daily basis.
- Assists in the maintenance of student information system database system (OSS) by completing periodic data clean up and resolve issues relating to the database information accuracy.
- Establishes and maintains imaging schedule for matriculated new student folders each session
- Orders office supplies and maintains miscellaneous office equipment.
- Assists in initiatives to maintain accurate records and files; filing systems to include hard copy, computer diskette and network systems, ensures filings are in proper format and filed in a timely manner, and supplies information upon request.
- Answers telephone, screens, and refers calls to appropriate person, takes messages, responds to inquiries for information, and provides courteous and efficient responses.
- Reviews and processes departmental inquiry email and ensures departmental voicemail is properly routed.
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of general office experience is required with experience in customer service.
- Experience with Oracle desired and proficiency a plus.
- Must have good PC skills in Microsoft Office and database applications.
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- Must have good customer service skills.
