The Registry Medical Technologist performs various clinical laboratory tests in one or more sections of the Laboratory. Exemplifies Rush Oak Park Hospital's mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures. The Lab Medical Technologist operates equipment safely and correctly. Maintains work area and equipment ensuring that all are clean and functional. Enters test results into computer system without error. Maintains and manages inventory.

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Sciences or Medical Tech Certification.

MT (ASCP) is preferred for this entry level position.

Must be able to work some pm hours plus overnight weekend work hours are required. This candidate must have knowledge of all Laboratory disciplines at a level normally acquired through BS Degree in Medical Technology and an appropriate internship in an approved laboratory setting.
