Job Summary:

The Senior Regulatory Manager is responsible for leadership and support of the Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance personnel.  They participate in all activities relating to Product Safety, Product Chemical Compliance and Product Regulatory registrations and customer correspondence. 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Develop and implement processes, procedures and tools needed to ensure Product compliance and risk management.

·         Work with business functions such as logistics, manufacturing/operations, sales and marketing, EH&S, and R&D to integrate product compliance and risk management controls for the business through each stage of the product development process as well as ongoing commercial product activities. 

·         Develop and oversee training to employees whose responsibilities may impact Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance processes and/or systems. 

·         Manage product safety related incidents, including leading root cause investigations. 

·         Conduct self-assessments to periodically review Product Safety and Compliance processes, procedures and tools and use the results to drive continuous improvement. 

·         Provide periodic feedback to business line management on the performance of the Product Safety Program as well as key emerging issues related to Product Safety and Compliance. 

·         Develop an annual Product Safety and Regulatory compliance plan using appropriate inputs such as incident metrics, self assessment results and trends, audit results, and other feedback to guide prioritization of key focus areas.

·         Coordinate the Product Safety and Compliance support between the business and management systems to ensure efficient and focused use of resources to support business strategies and priorities. 

·         Serve as the primary interface for customers on product related inquiries. 

·         Prepare reports and conduct presentations covering compliance data at all levels of the organization. 

·         Member of EHS/Regulatory Compliance audit team.

·         Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines, and Bostik specific EHS expectations. 

Job Requirements:

·         Minimum BS degree in Chemistry, Biology or Toxicology.

·         Diverse background in area of Product Safety and Product Regulatory.

·         Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. 

·         Ability to efficiently manage time and workload, which includes planning, organizing, prioritizing, and follow through on assignments, projects and reports while meeting all deadlines.

·         PC proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software as well as Internet and email usage. 

·         Efficient project management skills.

·         Ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in work.

·         Strong analytical and research skills. 

·         Understand and develop long term business vision. 

·         Careful delegation of tasks whilst maintaining responsibility for final results.

·         Careful planning to achieve accurate and timely results. 

·         Recognize recurring issues and analyze their causes in order to reach a solution.
