You’ll interact with fellow regulatory, product development, R&D and manufacturing professionals across a diverse business segment while applying your broad based chemical compliance knowledge to ensure appropriate product stewardship



Job Description


General responsibilities include: regulatory database records maintenance, MSDS authoring to include VOC analysis and DOT classifications, consumer and HAZCOM product label content review and governmental registration of new products (U.S. and foreign).  Develop processes for all required documentation In addition, you will manage global registration and provide support to TSCA, DSL and the REACH team. An example of support includes identifying chemical ingredients in purchased formulated products which is essential for REACH substance volume tracking compliance. The individual hired will also work with toxicologists to review and classify hazards of chemical substances and assess the risk of chemical use.




Qualification


Successful candidates for this position have:

* A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology and/or Toxicology; Advanced degree preferred.

* Minimum 5 or more years regulatory experience in Chemicals (additional adhesives R&D experience desirable)

* Experience with Hazard / Risk Assessments / Toxicology of Chemicals is desired

* Excellent experience in Global regulations and requirements.

* Broad Chemical Knowledge

* Strong Risk Management & Material Safety Data experience.

* Requires good communication skills and the ability to interact throughout the organization
