Key responsibilities include:


  • Partner with all levels of management and peers

  • Drive business requirements and translate into technical criteria into a workable solution

  • Assess current state and recommend opportunities for an automated solution

  • Design, develop, create, and produce reports for management, regulatory, and reinsurance partners

  • Query, extract, and organize data for end users

  • Design, create, maintain, and modify database

  • Serve as the liaison between business and IT

  • Develop, maintain, interpret, and present data process flows for various data systems

  • Manage the change control process on reports and data extracts

  • Evaluate use of internal resources and systems to maximize current expertise and reduce production operating expense

Qualifications


Minimum requirements include:


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years Business Analyst experience

  • Possess a good mix of business and technical knowledge

  • Strong financial background; Insurance knowledge is not required but highly preferred

  • Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as manage staff

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Strong concentration and focus under challenging conditions

  • Good organization and planning skills

  • Strong problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills

  • Customer Service focused

  • Ability to multi - task

  • In depth knowledge of systems and tools

  • Understanding of current systems infrastructure

  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications and ability to learn systems

  • Project experience
