RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

The Relationship Manager must have outstanding multi-client relationship management skills and be able to collaborate with client to understand strategic business goals and align our solutions to achieve success. The Relationship Manager will partner with multiple accounts and large revenue accounts (ex. $60K and up). Although there is a sales component to this position, it is based on maintaining customer relationships. The position includes a bonus program designed around retaining key clients. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and interact positively with internal and external customers, including peers and management
Principal Responsibilities & Duties:
· Act as liaison with Customer Service, IT and Development regarding customer issues and projects.
· Introduce and detail new products and product-enhancements to Senior Management for discussion, research and implementation.
· Rotation among Relationship Managers to attend weekly sales meetings.
· Build relationships with key accounts with introduction letter, calls, emails, gifts.
· Monitor matrices on turnaround times, request volumes, product volumes, etc. Provide monthly reports on these items for Ops Report and quarterly to customer, as needed.
· Provide monthly report detailing any changes in volume and related information (i.e., explanation of volume change, organizational issues, etc.). These are to be incorporated into the monthly Ops report.
· Communicate business or process-related issues in monthly report (i.e., organizational change, change in position of a decision-maker over background screening, new product/process suggestions by clients).
· Research and track company information for key accounts, including financial, organizational, and business details (i.e., Google Alerts).
· Train on-site, if needed, on new products and processes.
· Provide follow-up notes on training.
· The determination of who will provide training will be on a case by case basis and will involve the COO.
· Make proactive contacts on a monthly basis.
· Provide meeting and action items for all meetings. Follow up on outstanding items and update with client.
· Enact a Pre-implementation meeting and then a warm hand off meeting with Sales and the new Customer, as well as a post set-up and training meeting.
Requirements:
· 2-4 years related work experience (Customer Service or Key Account Management)
· Previous training experience or related experience in a training environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Knowledge of legal system (courts) or previous background screening experience a plus; college degree a plus
· Ability to manage $3-$5M in Key Account revenue
· Ability to recognize up-sell opportunities for Sales Team or to up-sell clients on new products and services
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with positive attitude
· Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
· Demonstrated ability to project manage multiple, parallel projects
· Ability to interpret data, processes and determine priorities based on changing company demands and customer situations
· Proven presentation, facilitation and implementation skills
· Comfortable communicating with all levels of management
· Can-do attitude with problem solving skills
· Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
· Excellent computer skills (Internet, Excel, Word, Power Point)
· Excellent, proven ability to communicate both orally and in written form
