Reliability Engineer

Precision Resource Company has an immediate need for a Reliability Engineer in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Job Summary:

 Work as part of a team to support the mill effort to safely improve the equipment reliability by applying reliability principles such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify the appropriate Predictive and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) procedures. Must have direct experience in Electrical and instrumentation to include PLC's advanced electrical circuits, DCS systems, and other plant related equipment. Must respond to troubleshoot and resolve day to day equipment related problems in the plant. Develops action plans to comply with Production demands for safety & reliability. Supports small capital projects including providing scope of work and justifications. Provides counseling and consulting on a variety of process and equipment issues, including detailed calculations in order to make cost effective decisions and recommendations. Provides cost controls and budget development.  Work with the onsite electrical crew on skills improvement, troubleshooting skills and overall reliability of the electrical and instrument systems.


Responsibilities: 

 

Ensure procedures and guidelines for the Maintenance Organization are being followed
- Participate and/or lead in Root Cause Investigations.
- Perform equipment failure analysis
- Support and participate in the Reliability Improvement Program
- Support Maintenance Workflow Process (MWP)
- Provide documentation and technical guidance for repairs to equipment
- Oversee troubleshooting and repairs of equipment in the field
- Coordinate turnaround activities
- Provide daily technical support to the plant
- Provide engineering and/or supervisor assistance to crafts and/or contractors during routine and turnaround activities.
- Identify work process improvements
- Support Reliability Walkthrough with Operations
- Be a safety champion and agent of change
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
- Provide advanced troubleshooting diagnostics for equipment issues

 

Requirements: 

A B/S in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in the E/I field.                                                                                                

Training or experience in Maintenance Reliability including RCFA's                                                                                                                 

Experience in Pulp and Paper or related manufacturing facilities
