Replenishment Mgr-Sams

Works with internal and external partners to improve data flow between the business partners with goal of reducing or eliminating invoicing errors for both fuel and freight invoices.
Understanding our suppliers and competitors to plan and adjust based on external influences and threats related to a commodity driven business.
Communicate with carriers and suppliers relating to replenishment of stations.
Collects, organizes, and validates data processes and information by conducting process observations, mapping, interviews, time studies, data mining, and trend analyses; utilizing multiple internal and external sources; and analyzing data using basic statistical techniques.
Identifies root causes and develops potential solutions for Innovation initiatives, as assigned by supervisor, by analyzing data, process and information through multiple techniques (for example, data analysis, data mining, trend analysis, financial analysis); and making recommendations based on date and observations. Work with transportation partners ensuring inventory level optimization and maximization of purchasing opportunities to achieve financial goals.

Demonstrated strong management skill set and achieve time lines and milestones.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks or escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
Ability to perform in non-routine circumstances with minor direction or oversight.
Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner participating with buyer and supplier partners.
Strong knowledge of Wal-Mart Accounting systems.
Extensive experience with Excel.
Competency in understanding of replenishment theory
Proficiency executing the daily drivers of replenishment including order point, lead time, safety stock, forecasting and seasonality.
Thorough understanding of communication and data flows between multiple information systems.

Working knowledge of methods of fuel distribution.
Understanding of regulatory environment as it pertains to fuel types required in various geographic regions.
Understanding of fuel taxes.
Ability to influence buyers and suppliers within established industry guidelines.
Bachelor¿s Degree or equivalent experience (4 years) in Supply Chain Management and Transportation
Experience with advanced data analysis and database functions.
Strong leadership skills.
