Reporting Analyst--New York City or Boston
Description:
- Develop reports, dashboards (dynamic), public and backend within a primarily SQL/Oracle Environment.
- Maintain and update production reporting environment including Data catalogs.
- Contribute to and support the creation/migration of reports, documentation from a wide variety of applications such as IntraLinks Proprietary, MS Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, SQL, SQLNav.
- Work with department stakeholders to participate in the department documentation process, and automation design.
- Act as source of technical expertise to others within group as well as those from other departments
- Generate Ad-Hoc queries and reports based on business requirements and/or client request
- Perform and/or coordinate day-to-day activities to meet departmental and project objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure communication of server down-times, failovers, etc…
- Develop and establish strong and effective working relationships with various departments including external sales force.
- Train end-user/stakeholder populations on the access to and employment of Data Warehouse reporting outcomes.
- Overtime occasionally necessary.
Requirements Qualifications:
- Experienced in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) scorecards, reports and dashboards
- Excellent, up-to-date knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook
- Skilled in MS-Access and Visual Basic for Applications
- Must have Strong SQL, Sharepoint, XML, and Oracle
- Experience with dimensionally modeled databases is desired
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience designing and developing complicated analytical reports (charts, graphs, drill-down, and drill-through reporting, etc.)
- Ability to successfully interface with end-user populations
- Ability to successfully collect, analyze, and formulate effective data and reporting design specifications based on end-user requirements
- Excellent analytic thinker and problems solver
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present technical and business solution concepts to all levels across functional domains (both technical and non-technical audiences)
- Several positions are available, either in NY or Boston. Each shift has the following hour/ language fluency requirements:
- Japanese (Kanji) 8PM-5AM, Sunday-Thursday
- Cantonese 9PM-6AM, Sunday-Thursday
- French 3AM-12PM, Su-Thu, OR, Tuesday-Saturday
- German 3AM-12PM, Su-Thu, OR, Tuesday-Saturday
- Italian 3AM-12PM, Su-Thu, OR, Tuesday-Saturday
- Portuguese 6AM-3PM, Su-Thu, OR, Tuesday-Saturday
- Spanish 3AM-12PM, Su-Thu, OR, Tuesday-Saturday
