Description:
Volt's client in Littleton has 2 immediate 3-month+ assignments available for Senior-level Reporting and Data Analysts.
The Reporting and Data Analyst is responsible for understanding current business processes as they relate to mortgage servicing; gathering requirements, analyzing data, data mapping and report development.
This position requires senior level experience in reporting and analytics. Candidate must possess the necessary skills to work in conjunction with end users, mid and senior level management, project managers and IT professionals including database developers and DBA's.
- Review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain reporting to support current mortgage servicing business initiatives.
- Develop complex reporting utilizing Crystal Reports, BusinessObjects and SQL stored procedures/queries.
- Provide portfolio analysis, executive reporting and analytics to support business initiatives
- Partner with business managers, systems analysts, and financial analysts to lead projects concerning complex data manipulation, analysis and reporting.
- Maintain relationships with business partners including Default Administration, Escrow Administration, Cash Management, Customer Service and Investor Relations.
- Identify data requirements around specific project or report requests. This includes mapping and definition, along with detailed requirements that will support the original request.
- Identify and define improvements to existing reporting data sources.
- Manage and maintain current report catalog including automating manual reports, as well as improvements to existing reports
- Identify and research data issues and works with business partners to identify areas for improvement
- Manage report development projects and works with business partners to create a reporting strategy that will support business decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or Finance. Desired Qualifications: MBA
Experience:
3-5 years experience in mortgage servicing. Experience in Default Administration (Collections, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure and REO) preferred.
2-5 years experience in report development, deployment and data analysis. Project management experience preferred.
Technical and Systems Experience:
- Fidelity MSP (CPI): 3-5 years experience preferred.
- Fidelity Passport: Experience building and maintaining queries preferred.
- Crystal Reports / BusinessObjects: Experience with report development and/or maintenance required.
- Prior SQL (T-SQL, P-SQL, DB2/UDB SQL) coding preferred but not required. Experience in scripting (VBScript, Jscript, etc.) is a plus.
- Microsoft Access: Experience in reverse engineering Access databases required.

Pay Rate: $37.00 - $58.00 Hourly DOE
