Job Description:

Kforce is seeking a Requirements Analyst for an Austin client.

Functions Include:


  • Performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions

  • Consulting with customers to identify and specify requirements

  • Understanding business requirements and trace to system design

  • Analyzing current operating procedures

  • Evaluating functional requirements for feasibility

  • Producing technical specifications based on customer-provided business requirements

  • Developing overall functional and systems requirements and specifications

  • Conducting business process reengineering

  • Conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses

  • Preparing business cases for the application of IT solutions

  • Identifies and evaluates highly effective systems design methodologies and benchmarks best practices from industry and other government organizations

  • Recommending modifications to improve the functionality of proposed applications

  • Ensuring the integration of all systems components e.g., procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware

  • Communicate business requirements to technical staff

  • Ability to use available tools, techniques, and standards to produce detailed systems specifications



Requirements Analyst Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years IT requirements analyst experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2007

  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio 2007

  • Must have BA/BS or comparable experience

  • Must have a technical background in .Net and SQL Server solutions

  • Must be able to read and understand .Net code

  • Must be able to devise business rules

  • Must be able to analyze data
