Position Description

Research Analyst- Jr/ Senior

a)    Jr Research Analyst -  Masters or Doctoral Degree with 1-2  years experience


b)    Sr. Research Analyst -  Masters or Doctoral Degree with 2-4 years experience

Responsibilities vary with the position and include:



  • Performing prospective and retrospective health economic research activities under the direction of the project manager.

  • Supporting research activities for HO project managers in the following areas: research designs, methodologies, analytical techniques, and reporting (with respect to statistical results)

  • Collaborating with the project managers to support the research functions that bring high quality reports deliverables, presentations, and other milestones to fruition. 

  • Utilizing industry standard health economic analytical and statistical techniques

  • Ability to carry out key project management functions with minimal oversight.

 


Qualifications:


This position requires a B.S., M.S., Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., or relevant education and/or equivalent training in health service research, epidemiology or a related field. 


Post-graduate or post-doctoral training or relevant experience in conducting health service research with experience in biostatistics or epidemiology is preferred. 


Managed care, PBM, pharmaceutical, or related experience preferred. 


Strong study design and statistical analysis skills and proficiency with one or more statistical applications (SAS, Stata) are required. 


Experience with health plan administrative databases (pharmacy and medical claims) and economic modeling is preferred.
