Research Assistant Professor Positions in Multimodal Biometrics
The Lane Department
of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering invites applications for a
non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor in the field of multimodal
biometrics. Duties will planning, proposing, executing, and supervising
externally sponsored research activities in areas including but not
limited to biometric data acquisition, pattern recognition, image processing,
information security.
Required qualifications include an earned PhD
degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science;
broad knowledge in the fields of image processing and pattern recognition;
experience in applications of image processing to biometric systems; and a
record of experience, research, and publication commensurate with the post
doctoral experience. Preferred experience includes the following: academic
research experience and publication with specific applications to
multimodal biometric systems, and experience in biometric data acquisition.
