Description: Under the supervision of the Vice President Academic Affairs, Director of Clinical Research, the Research Associate provides support to faculty, Housestaff, and academic leaders in preparing scientific/medical writing, including grants, articles and proposals, and supports the Office of Research and Scholarly Activity within the Department of Academic Affairs. Additionally, the individual performs a variety of secretarial, clerical, editorial and general office functions and other duties assigned. Qualifications: Master's level education (MPH,MS) with biostatistics background required. Typing required, 40 wpm with 2% error rate. Experience with word processing (Microsoft Word/Office, etc.), spreadsheets (Excel, etc.), and database (Microsoft Access, etc.), and statistical software (SPSS or SAS) required.
