RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and eager to learn and aggressively perform research. Technician will join a group working on state of the art mouse developmental genetics. The technician should be able to carry out independent research to study growth factor signaling during embryonic development. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining mouse pedigrees, preparing tissue culture media, maintaining databases, histology and molecular biology work. Other duties will be as assigned. Full participation in laboratory meeting is expected.
Minimum Education/Experience
A bachelor's degree and two years of relevant laboratory research experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Some molecular biology research experience (cloning, PCR, genotyping) is required. Experience with tissue culture and/or histology is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work independently, but cooperatively with a research laboratory environment.
