












The Education Studies Division is currently seeking to fill an Research Education Analyst position in the Waltham, MA office. The successful candidate will lead project activities in design, analysis, and reporting for educational evaluation studies in elementary, secondary, and/or postsecondary education. Responsibilities and work activities include contributing to or leading project management teams on all aspects of research projects, including: developing research designs and data analysis plans, designing and implementing the analysis and synthesis of data, managing the work of more junior staff, and preparing technical memoranda and reports. Interest and experience in working on related social policy research projects such as early childhood education, family welfare and economic well-being helpful.
Qualifications
* Master's degree or doctoral degree in a social science discipline such as education, sociology, or economics with demonstrated experience in conducting research, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Effective interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills
* Strong writing skills
* Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and with teams and establish and maintain good working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
* Proficiency with statistical computing software such as SAS, SUDAAN, STATA desired.
