Research Engineer, Medical Affairs

We are currently recruiting for a contract Research Engineer to design and perform creative and relevant laboratory studies and analyze/interpret clinical evidence in support of vitreo-retinal surgical products. A successful candidate will be capable of designing, executing and reporting on laboratory/clinical experiments and generating technical manuscripts. Ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of data acquisition, fluidics/hydraulics, optics/illumination, tissue handling, video editing and laboratory experimentation. Candidates must be proficient in Lab View and Microsoft Office products.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Biology at minimum and an advanced degree is highly desirable.  Prior publication experience will be considered a plus. Requires a team player with good verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to meeting schedule and project milestones.
