In this Research Scientist you'll have the opportunity to:
- Execute preclinical scientific R&D with a team of scientists.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analysis, participate in the investigation and development of new methods and technologies for project advancement and participate in development of patent applications.
- Write accurate reports regularly and make acceptable oral presentations occasionally.
- Work well under limited supervision and strives to meet all deadlines.
- Write elements of clinical trail protocol, order materials needed to complete the process, liase with suppliers of raw materials.
- Troubleshoot problems with products.
- Investigate problem areas and areas of desirable product improvement, meets and responds to customer requirements.
- Determine and implement experimental procedures, conducts test protocols and procedures, and product evaluations.
- Assist with new product transition to Operations.
- Implement profit improvement programs via changes to existing products and processes.
- Document development work, writing technical reports and cost estimates.
- Provide product claim substantiation to ensure efficacy and safety of new and existing products.
Are you interested? The ideal Research Scientist candidate will have the following:
- 2 to 5 years in immunoassay research and development with hands on experience in lateral flow technology.
- Problem-solving skills combined with analytical skills and good attention to detail, solid lab skills.
- Project management skills and good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of business systems.
- Good knowledge of science and the ability to apply basic principles and techniques.
- B.S. Degree.
