We are looking to fill an immediate need for a Research Specialist III with our client, a leader in the field of Biotechnology. The focus of their research is to develop technology that will enable farmers to grow more crops by applying biotechnology, genomics, and molecular breeding technology to herbicides and seeds.

This role will be responsible for writing sections of a Closed Loop (CL) process manual.  The manual will describe the implementation of CL guidelines that cover activities necessary to provide appropriate stewardship of regulated grain and oils from the crusher through food company activities.  Key experiences necessary for this role include:

1)       Process technology, engineering, or related background.  Experience, particularly in oilseed processing, with understanding of manufacturing operations and food industry applications preferred.

2)       Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or food-grade operations and hands-on documentation of associated procedures. 

3)       Background in grain processing identity preservation practices, and understanding of compliance practices required in working with regulated seed products.

4)       Ability to translate technical knowledge into clear and detailed standard operating procedures and standards
