Strategic Business Systems (SBS), A Brocade Company, is seeking experienced System Support Specialists with a secret clearance to partner with our Brocade Solutions team to focus on the installation, management, maintenance and trouble shooting of data network systems to include Gigabit Ethernet, switching, hubs, routing, QOS protocols and most importantly Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS). The successful candidate will have experience installing, managing and maintaining data network systems. A DoD Secret Clearance is preferred.

This position gives the candidate the opportunity to do the following:
* Assist designated representatives in matters directly or indirectly relating to the achievement of contracted levels of system performance
* Survey, analyze, evaluate and provide technical advice/trouble resolution pertaining to the performance and functionality of the I3MP system
* Provide technical assistance, guidance and training to the site personnel which will allow for site personnel to become self sufficient in maintaining and operating the installed system
* Assist with the system administration and maintenance of the I3MP Data Network
* Maintain contracted levels of system availability and performance, utilizing Intelligent Operation, Administration and Maintenance (IOA&M) trouble resolution tools and other GFE furnished

Assist the principal network manager/system administrator in the performance of the following functions:
o Detection and resolution of system failures, component failures and errors.
o Network system operation

Candidates must possess and be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following networking skills:
* IP networking and subnetting
* OSPF routing protocol
* BGP routing protocol (required for route advertisements of MPLS layer 3 VPNs)
* Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS)
* Label Distribution Protocol (LDP)
* VPLS Layer 2 VPNs
* MPBGP/VRF Layer 3 VPNs
* SNMP management protocol (versions 2c and 3)
* VLL Point-to-Point Layer 2 VPns
* Information assurance and security
