WestBridge is a private non-profit dedicated to a new direction in the treatment of people with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Our treatment model adheres to the evidence based practices developed at Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center. We use a multi-disciplinary team approach that provides flexible, mobile and responsive substance abuse and psychiatric care, in a fun, tobacco-free and drug-free environment.
WestBridge has one full-time opening for a Licensed Masters-level, Residential Clinician in our adult, male residential program in Brooksville, FL. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a team-based work setting and who seeks a job requiring creativity, professionalism, communication and initiative. We take an active, holistic approach to Wellness by having staff participate side-by-side in activities with our Participants (clients). This includes daily participation in a wide-range of activities, such as: yoga, meditation, mindfulness, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, golfing, walking, etc.
On-call responsibilities are part of the duties of this position. Must have valid drivers lic., auto insurance with liability limits of 100,000/300,000 & reliable transportation. Those candidates offered positions after successfully completing interviews will need to complete a Florida "LIVESCAN" background check, Motor Vehicle Records check and pre-employment drug screening.
Requirements: Masters degree in human services field (counseling, social work, psychology, etc.), professionally licensed (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, CAP, etc.) and experience with treatment knowledge pertaining to mental health disorders and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate would have experience working with individuals and families who experience co-occurring severe and persistent psychiatric and substance use disorders, and knowledge of 12-steps. Candidate must be comfortable facilitating groups and in working with men. Flexibility, direct communication, camaraderie, enthusiasm & a positive, “can do” attitude crucial.
The preferred candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience counseling men in a residential environment that treats both mental illness and substance use disorders together, and a working knowledge of the 12-steps.
