Residential Field Sales Representative - Little Rock, AR
About the Job
Promote and sell Video and Comcast High Speed Internet and Telephony services in a specific assigned territory via door-to-door sales to residential and/or MDUs (multiple dwelling units) prospective customers. • Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment or referral solicitation in assigned territory. Perform instant installation consistent with the department guidelines. • Upgrade and improve sales presentation, knowledge of products, services and rates and attend sales meetings as required. • Systematically review assigned territory to ensure dwelling units are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis. • Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities. • Responsible for meeting and exceeding minimum monthly sales quota. • Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly and thoroughly on a daily basis. • Maintain and demonstrate current knowledge of product, programming and various promotional offers. • Project a professional business manner and operate with a high degree of integrity. • Perform other duties as requested. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance required.
Required Skills:
Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent. EXPERIENCE: • 2 years related work experience. • Recent sales experience a must, preferably in outside sales. • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance. • Ability to work overtime as needed. • Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends. • Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills. • Strong discretionary skills, as this position will have access to and work with information of a confidential nature. • Valid and unrestricted AR driver's license. • Clean DMV record and reliable transportation. • Ability to follow directions and learn all phases of the cable television industry. Work Environment/Physical Activities: • 95% outside environment with exposure to the elements • Duties may involve standing and walking for prolonged periods of time • Occasionally lift and carry loads of 25 lbs. or more Comcast is an
