Residential Route Supervisor

S.  Our range of services includes solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling to approximately 2 million commercial, industrial, and residential customers in 26 states.  

 

We have an immediate position available for a Residential Route Supervisor for our Wichita, KS location.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assign and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment for 60 residential routes.

  • Monitors progress of daily operations, and reassigns employees and makes route changes as necessary

  • Conducts safety meetings and audits

  • Maintains employee files

  • Responsible for Dispatch Department

  • Issues progressive disciplinary action as necessary

  • Conducts field inspections of route crews to ensure proper work procedures

  • Receives and reviews customer complaints regarding collection programs

  • Performs reviews of all drivers

  • Others duties as assigned

  Requirements:

  • Experience working in the waste management industry

  • Commercial CDL, B or higher

  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications

  • Experience dealing with management of refuse collection routes
