Position Summary:
The Lead Resolute Hospital Billing Application Specialist will lead the Revenue Cycle team as they design and implement Epic Resolute Hospital Billing. The incumbent will bring their strong business knowledge of back end processing for Revenue Cycle, and be able to effectively communicate that knowledge to all levels of end users. In addition, the Lead Resolute Hospital Billing Application Specialist will play a key role in translating user requirements to the vendor, and capitalize on their strong project management skills to facilitate the team from the concept phase to implementation.
Requirements:
Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certified
Strong business knowledge of back end processing for Revenue Cycle which includes hospital billing, claims processing (in the State of California), charge capture from ancillary systems, and detailed processes that interact within the organization.
Exceptional communication skills – must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within the organization, end users, management, and key stakeholders
Excellent Epic knowledge to include ADT, Prelude, as well as coding and abstracting
Vendor management skills – translating end user needs to vendor representatives
Project Management experience – from concept phase through the implementation lifecycle
Previous experience in the role in the state of California is highly preferred
