Details The Respiratory Therapist/Registered Nurse is accountable for the performance and tracking of all professional respiratory service functions within the center location. They are responsible for educating customers and healthcare providers in the function of respiratory equipment. The RT/RN should demonstrate a good working knowledge and a high quality of proficiency in the equipment categories that are provided (oxygen therapy, aerosol and humidity therapy, IPPB therapy, chest physiotherapy instruction, artificial airway care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, nasal CPAP, DIPAP, apnea monitor, ventilator monitoring, mechanical ventilation, other equipment as may be designated). They will assist with cleaning, inspection and packaging of respiratory therapy equipment in the center and participate, as required, in on call and respond promptly to on call personnel. In addition, the RT/RN will assist in the operation of the center when absolutely necessary to serve walk-up patients or a high volume of incoming calls. Requirements Successful RT/RN’s must have a passion for quality customer service and a can-do attitude. We are looking for RRT’s, RCP’s, or CRTT’s with current license or other exempted licensed persons whose training, State licensure and scope of practice includes respiratory care. This position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and malpractice insurance.
