Program Director - Respiratory Therapy - Austin, TX

Status: Full Time
Description: Under general supervision, coordinates and assists with students within the program and with public, professional and community educational programs, including day-to-day operational needs of the department. This would include budgeting, human resources, payroll, training and other areas associated with running a department of the school.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years experience as a RRT, includes a minimum of two (2) years in clinical respiratory care and two (2) years in a teaching position in an accredited respiratory care program. Formal teacher / training experience is recommended.
Education: Currently registered as a Respiratory Therapist with a BA degree.
Skills: Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community.
