Assistant manager for a fast-paced local Brew Pub. Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention and guest services.Emphasis is put on guest satisfaction, sanitation/cleanliness of the restaurant and continued food quality.
Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.Control floor: Be aware of everyone on the floor.Know who can handle what and when to intervene in a situation.Know all positions in the restaurant and be able to fill in as needed
Deal with all customer relations: complaints, suggestions inquiries etc...Work the floor, engaging guest in conversation.
Uphold a comfortable and safe atmosphere for our guests.
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with the restaurant’s policy
Prepare all required paperwork; including forms, schedules, and reports in a timely manner.
Communicate any issues openly and frequently with the General Manager regarding the restaurant, equipment, staff, etc.
Pro-actively search for new musical acts to keep our entertainment schedule filled.
Responsible for opening and closing the establishment on an efficient basis.
Actively be involved with marketing ideas and suggestions.
Assist with the hiring and recruitment of new staff
Know and be able to explain all aspects of the brewing process.Know the various beer styles and how to describe them (on the job training will be provided).
