JOB DESCRIPTION
To plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the duties and resources for the efficient and profitable service of food and beverages. Responsible for managing the operation of a specific restaurant including the development and growth of people, sales and profits.
Manage the restaurant in accordance with established company standards, policies and
procedures. Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage and labor costs. Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution. Hire, train and develop shift supervisors and hourly employees through orientations, ongoing feedback, using the establishment of performance expectations, and by conducting performance reviews. Provide high level of community involvement for staff.
RESPONSIBILITES•
Execute all personnel duties including hiring, training, coaching, and development.
Ensure the safety of our Guests and Associates through execution of food and restaurant safety standards.
Lead by example in all guest components including excellent food quality, guest service,
associate friendliness, and restaurant cleanliness. Ensure your team has the necessary knowledge and skills by providing training and support in proven operating procedures. Provide employees with positive and
negative feedback and take appropriate action.
Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
Maintain professional restaurant and team member image, proper uniforms, and appearance standards. Manage all profit and loss centers to meet or exceed controllable cost benchmarks, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.
Ensure proper and effective control procedures are in place in the areas of
cash handling and restaurant and product security.
Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of injury and
accidents through continual repair and maintenance of restaurant.
Provide management for all shifts. Expected duties include: Independent decision making, staff support, scheduling, upholding standards for product quality and cleanliness, planning for future resource requirements, managing daily staffing needs.
Investigate, respond to, and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
Work with the Marketing team to execute any marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions with intent goal to increase sales
Assist Marketing Director to identify community service activities consistent with desired levels of community involvement and consistent with restaurant goals and image.
Scheduling activities and create programs in support of community involvement giving all employees an opportunity to participate.
