Restaurant Manager

America's #1 Buffalo Wing Delivery Restaurant, Wing Zone, is looking for a qualified candidate to train for the General Manager position in our Hoover location. This restaurant has established itself as a wing and sandwich delivery favorite in the Hoover and Vestavia areas.  Potential candidates must have a proven track record of success and strong references. A Wing Zone General manager must be "hands-on" and willing to perform all tasks to get the job done.  The position can be very challenging but the regional owner is committed to provide the management team the resources needed to be successful.   

Duties / Responsibilities -  1) Oversee the entire operation of the restaurant during your shift; 2) Assist the Regional Owner in hiring, training and disciplining the staff; 3) Manage labor costs within established levels; 4) Ensure that proper food use procedures are followed to control food costs; 5) Establish a sense of urgency within the staff to provide outstanding customer service and work quickly to successfully resolve any customer issues; 6) Help the Regional Owner plan and execute a store level marketing plan to drive sales increases.  

Requirements / Qualifications- At least two years experience in food service management and a ServSafe qualification is required. The candidate must have excellent communication and organization skills and the personality to motivate employees in a high stress environment.  Given the restaurants limited staffing, the candidate must learn all positions in the restaurant and be willing to work in those positions as needed.
