About the Job
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the direction and the overall leadership of a Texas Burger unit. The position requires communication on all levels. The Restaurant Manager needs to understand team dynamics and must be able to foster team spirit. Requires monitoring and challenging the Texas Burger team in the areas of food, service, and safety. Restaurant Manager will seek to maximize profitability with food, labor and all other controllable expenses of management. Must strive to increase sales through marketing, promotions, and application of concept fundamentals with food quality and service. Must comply with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, including Human Resource issues. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of creating and maintaining Texas Burger theme.
Restaurant experience preferred but not required. At Texas Burger we are interested in a person with the right attitude to succeed and build a career in the restaurant business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and coach management/supervisory staff and unit hourly staff
- Project management skills for successful completion of assigned projects
- Understanding of Texas Burger's position in the market and the importance of creating a quality experience for every guest for the benefit of word-of-mouth advertising
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
- Thorough working knowledge of all restaurant positions so you can train your staff properly
- Capable of interacting and working with guests and staff
- Schedule employees to meet business needs
- Count and monitor cash including making bank deposits
- Order all inventory of food, paper, and supplies

- Must have initiative in order to be an effective leader
- Ability to read, understand, and enforce written policies and procedures per company operations and safety manuals.
- Ability to count cash and make bank deposits
- Ability to receive and give verbal instruction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, making quick, high quality decisions
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility to work when the need arises.
- Possess strong-multi-talking skills
