Retail Store Manager

Location: Newport News, VA

JoS. A. Bank is a Sales-Driven, Better Men’s Clothing store. We are seeking an energetic, responsible and outgoing Store Manager, with an eye for men’s fashion and a passion to succeed in our Newport News, VA location.

As a successful Store Manager, you will:

•          Drive sales to exceed the overall store goals

•          Oversee all day-to-day planning and coordinating of operations and events

•          Hire, train and manage all store employees (typically a staff of 6-10 associates)

•          Motivate staff to reach Company directed performance goals (Sales, Items Per Transaction,Corporate Cards, Average Dollar Sale, etc)

•          Develop and maintain customer relationships

Required:

•          Associates Degree or equivalent from 2yr College or Technical School, or

•          Retail Management experience (at least 1-2 years), or

•          Demonstrable successful experience in driving sales (2-4 years preferred)

Compensation:

Base plus commission including:

•          Competitive Base Salary

•          Commission on Personal Sales

•          Year-end Bonus Potential
