Retail Photographic Sales Associate FULL TIME ONLY

Norman Camera is looking for a sales associate. Candidates MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 year Retail Commissioned Sales Experience and MUST be available (Monday-Saturday 10AM-8PM) There will be days off as the position will be anywhere from 20-40 hours per week . Also some Photographic or Digital Photography/Videography Background is preferred but will train if you have the sales experience.
Position Summary- This person will be responsible for Inside Sales and Customer Service. We require that this candidate be self motivated, not afraid to work hard, a fast learner, and independent. This job is very fast paced and there is very little down time.

Job Purpose:
Serves customers by helping them select products.
Duties:
* Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
* Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
* Advises customers by providing information on products.
* Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
* Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
* Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
* Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
