The Service Administration Office located at the Deer Valley Campus, in Northwest Phoenix, has an opening for a Retail Services
Business Analyst.
Qualifications:
B/S in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or related field
2 - 5 years working in an analytical and reporting capacity
Strong understanding of writing SQL across a multi-platform environment
Strong data summarization / translation skills
Crystal Report Development experience, including the utilization of sub reports to resolve data from multiple data sources, SQL
embedded reports, while heavily considering accuracy and runtime performance
Web development experience utilizing HTML, ASP, XML, SAS, .NET and JavaScript. JAVA development knowledge preferred
Strong experience working in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and
Visio
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Experience communicating with an outside vendor to determine requirements, troubleshoot issues and to identify solutions
Possesses a general understanding of a model IT structure and methodology. Understands the processes revolving around
support, development and engineering
Experience in Third Party / Offshore processes and relations
Possess a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
under rigid time constraints
Two or more years experience in a retail environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Superior teamwork and strong customer service focus
Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics
Responsibilities;
All aspects of report management to include development, scheduling distribution, and maintenance
Translating and communicating complex data in summary form. Output should be easily understood and actionable
Capture and document business requirements and translate those to functional specifications
Develop and distribute adhoc report requests
Ensure all reports have been documented and form numbers assigned
Develop, enhance and implement web enabled applications utilizing HTML, and JAVA and maintain version control
Accessible to the customer by ensuring an open line of communication
