Decription:

Ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching, verifying and analyzing accounts and providing management with finanacial information.

Duties:

Perform various accounting functions in the accounting and reporting system such as accounts payable and receivable processing, POS integrity and audit, financial transaction posting, and financial reports and statement presentation.

Analyze various financial data for accuaracy and interpretation.

Ensure a strong internal control environment.

Direct, train and supervise accuarate and timely work with clerical staff.

Prepare month end reports  as well as analytic reports for management as needed.

Work with store personnel to help improve financial results at the retail locations, including being involved in inventory cycle counts and physical inventory of merchandise.  Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising a plus.

Excellent proficiency in accountign systems and MS Excel.

Require overnight travel to retail locations.  Must have a valid drivers license.

Experience/Qualifications

3-5 years experience in corporate accounting fuctions, or public accounting with audit experience..

Bachelor's degree in accounting.  Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

Attention to detail  with the ability to plan, assign, coordinate and proritize work.  Effective oral and written communication skills. 

Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain composure and patience under trying circumstances.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
