Hardgoods Manager – Concord, NC

Candidate Description:

We are looking for a candidate that has the passion and drive to be number one and to work in a team atmosphere! Here you'll lead a team whose central focus is revolutionizing the entire customer experience! In addition to managing and developing this winning team you will also streamline processes and cultivate an environment that is exciting, interactive and fun for both customers and employees!

Position Description:

• Maintain store presentation consistent with company standards
• Ensure a consistent, quality store experience for customers
• Develop creative plans and strategies to increase store sales through business analysis, action planning and consistent accountability
• Train & develop associates on selling strategies; evaluate and develop them
• Manage store expenses and payroll; prioritize, plan, delegate, administrate and adapt to business needs
• Maintain communication with Regional Managers and Home Office Personnel to stay abreast of company initiatives
• Loss Prevention - maximize inventory and maintain accurate cash control

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years retail management experience
• Established ability to increase sales and store profitability
• Talent in networking, recruiting, interviewing, training and developing others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of business operations, human resources and shrink reduction
• Ability to manage, motivate and develop a store team
• Outdoor Sports Enthusiast
