Retail Store Manager - 380

Location: Newark, ar

Family Christian Stores provides the following for our new Store Managers:

• Self-paced product knowledge training and certification
• Challenging, fast paced, sales oriented environment

• Store Management training (self-paced and District Manager directed)
• 45 hour work week as Store Manager
• Opportunities to grow within the organization

What’s expected of the Store Manager:
• Ensure exceptional in-store experiences for our customers

• Identify new methods to drive sales and to achieve these goals
• Establish brand identity through store presentation; merchandise management, and marketing strategies
• Become a strategic partner with the community through active involvement, relationships, and business support
• Attraction, selection, and retention of top talent for the store
• Learn and instill the culture, organization, operations processes and policies at store level

• Develop associates to promote growth within the company, implementing training initiatives, providing continuous coaching, and succession planning
• Manage sales and payroll plans in conjunction with other company-developed programs

Minimum requirements to be considered for this position:
3-5 years of retail store/department management experience within a specialty retailer

   (candidates not having specialty retail experience will not be considered)
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer service driven
• Ability to work set schedules including evenings and weekends as dictated by the needs of the business
• Positive track record of driving results through team building and coaching
