Retail Store Tech Sales/Business Consultant - West Lebanon, NH

Position Summary: Drive profitable sales and increase customer satisfaction by providing complete business productivity solutions including products and services in technology, supplies, and copy and print. Maintain a focus on the small and medium size businesses.

Role Qualifications:

  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers leading to profitable sales.
  • Utilize industry specific knowledge to develop a complete business solution that meets the customers current and ongoing business needs.
  • Work in a very fast paced retail environment and collaborate with customers, store associates and management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Easy Selling process to identify customer needs, develop a value added solution, and increase Staples share of wallet with each customer.
  • Drive customer loyalty by providing a solution unique to the needs of the business consumer.
  • Establish, build, and expand relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Serve as a leader and resource within the store to the small business customers.
  • Partner with store management team on the development of key business customer accounts and relationships within the local business community including the Top Customer Program.
  • Establish a robust list of contacts and resources to expedite solution based problem solving.
  • Provide peer coaching in order to develop selling effectiveness of all associates.
  • Manage the customer experience throughout the selling process (sales/service).
  • Develop new business primarily through in person contacts, phone follow up and in-store presentations.
  • Achieve assigned weekly and monthly sales activities and generation goals.
  • Maintain accurate database of client contact information.
  • Ensure timely completion of required paperwork and reports.
  • Engage in self-directed continuous improvement of sales and technical knowledge.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Business to Business sales experience in technological products and services preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years client management experience
  • Successful track record in consultative sales
  • Excellent presentation, communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of business and technology needs of a variety of industries(valued but not required)
